Hot water is the best option for washing almost any kind of dish. Hot water helps get rid of bacteria and remove grease. The water should usually be above 45 degrees; of course, you do not need to measure the water temperature with a thermometer every time you wash a glass. Adjust the water temperature and fill the sink so that it would be hard to keep your hands in it for a long time without gloves. In most cases bare skin cannot withstand temperatures above 45 degrees for long. Wear gloves to make washing easier. Dishwashing gloves protect your hands and help you tolerate hot water. Water temperature is just as important during rinsing. High-temperature water helps remove leftover dish soap and bacteria from the dishes and lets them dry faster when you set them out to dry. It also helps reduce spots and streaks. Despite our recommendation to wash dishes with hot water, “Crystalex” is designed to clean effectively at lower temperatures such as room temperature. With its special enzyme technology it removes dirt and grease while also saving energy.
